The Osteology Foundation이 자랑하는 글로벌 커뮤니티 플랫폼인 THE BOX에서 개최하는 제1회 Osteology Case Competition 참가자 중 브라질에서 참가한 우승자들이 발표됐다. 전 세계 임상가들이 참여한 가운데 진행된 이번 경연주제는 ‘Ridge Preservation with or without implant placement planned’로 심사위원단 평가와 관객들의 좋아요 평가 25%를 합해 선정됐다. 심사위원단은 THE BOX 팀 8인과 Osteology Foundation의 Board members인 Mauricio Araujo, Frank Renouard 등으로 구성됐다.
심사기준은 치료의 창의성과 독창성, 근거중심 접근, 좋은 예후, 사진의 우수한 퀄리티, 임상기법에 대한 생물학적 원리 등이다. 제출은 환자정보와 parameters를 포함한 전체 도큐먼트를 제출하였다. 우승자는 2018 National Osteology Symposia 중 한 곳에 초청된다. National Ostology Group Brazil에서 두 개의 케이스 경쟁을 거쳐 선정된 6증례에 관한 자세한 자료는 THE BOX에서 무료로 회원가입하여 볼 수 있다
